Well, we can finally stop calling this one Wolverine 3! Hugh Jackman has confirmed that the third Wolverine solo movie, and his last outing as the character, will be called simply Logan. And now it looks like more news will start to make its way out into the wild too. Hugh Jackman’s final turn as Wolverine will be loosely based on the Old Man Logan story from the comics, and will boast an R-rating.
Hugh Jackman finally revealed an official synopsis for the movie.
In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arives, being pursued by dark forces.
The film opens in March worldwide, but will have its world premiere a month early at the Berlin Film Festival in February. There’s a new trailer coming on Monday.
